I'm so lazy.

I remember once upon a time where a web page of mine wouldn't go more than a couple of weeks without being updated. With this page I'm averaging an update every 8 or 9 months now. I'm not even going to get into how long it's been since I updated Xander's page.

So what's going on with me... I'm in the midst of near homelessness. I was planning on moving out of the apartment at the end of January. Stevo and I had a couple of AD gigs lined up, I was going to pack my stuff into storage, work on the road for four months, then come back and find a new place to live. As is (unfortunately) all too often the case, the first project was pushed leaving a month and a half gap between when the lease ends and the job begins. blehk Damn the entertainment industry...

While we're on the topic, here's an e-mail that's been circulating among the US film workers that explains what exactly the whole Canadian production push is about. I know it's too late to send in the petition, but the letter still explains everything that's been going on.

The Bread My Sweet, the local indy I 2nd 2nd-ed two summers ago, has been doing really well. It's been winning awards like mad the past year or so. I finally managed to catch it myself a couple nights ago at the Regent and was very happy with how it turned out.

The Mothman Prophecies, the Richard Gere film from last winter, will be released shortly. (This Thursday to be exact) I'm really interested to see how it ends up. The film had been pushed from its Halloween to Christmas time slot because of the decision to CGI the Mothman into the film. Originally you were never supposed to see the Mothman, the only real hint you got of it was via the "MothmanCam" POV shots you occasionally got throughout the film. I've always been one for the "less is more" theory when it comes to horror, but I'm still hopeful. I guess we'll see what happens.

Well... This is a start at least, I have to go pick up the car. I'll write more later.
